Beef And Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

Marinade

  • 1 pound steak (any) or steak tips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut aminos
  • 1 tbls EVOO
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Stir Fry Sauce

  • 1/3 cup of beef broth
  • 2 teaspoon coconut aminos
  • 4 drops liquid stevia
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Remaining Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked broccoli, chopped (fresh or steamable)
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 cups cooked  riced cauliflower

Optional garnishes

  • chopped green onions
  • crushed red pepper flakes
  • sesame seeds

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Slice the steak into thin strips.
  2. Place all of the marinade ingredients in a ziploc bag and add steak pieces. Place in fridge for at least an hour to overnight. (The longer you marinate the steak, the more flavor it will have.)
  3. Cook Broccoli
  4. Place aminos, stevia, sesame oil, garlic and ginger to a small bowl to make sauce. Set aside.
  5. Heat the butter until melted in a wok or skillet on medium-high heat. Add sliced steak. Cook the steak, flipping it for 3-4 minutes each side.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium. Add in the stir fry sauce and broccoli. Stir and ensure the steak and broccoli are fully coated in sauce. Cook until the steak reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees.
  7. Remove the beef and broccoli from the wok or skillet. Add the riced cauliflower to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until soft. Serve alongside the beef and broccoli.
  8. Optional: Garnish with green onions, crushed red pepper flakes and sesame seeds.
