Glazed Protein Donuts
Ingredients:
DONUT:
- ½ cup Pure Vitality Vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 tbls coconut flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Dash of nutmeg
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 tbls coconut oil, melted
GLAZE:
- 3 tbls coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbls Swerve confectioners style erythritol
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Mix protein powder, coconut flour, baking powder, and nutmeg until well blended
- Add egg whites and coconut oil, mix well
- Spoon batter into a zip-lock baggie and cut off a corner
- Pipe batter into a silicone donut pan
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until donuts are firm
- Let cool slightly, and remove from pan
- Place in freezer while you mix the glaze (the cooler the donuts, the better they will take glaze)
- Using a fork, dip donut in glaze, turning to coat all of it (let excess drip off)
- Place on parchment paper
- Set in fridge or freezer to set for a few minutes
- Serve and enjoy! Store in refrigerator.
