Glazed Protein Donuts

Glazed Protein Donuts Recipe

Ingredients:

DONUT:

  • ½ cup Pure Vitality Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 tbls coconut flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 tbls coconut oil, melted

GLAZE:

  • 3 tbls coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tbls Swerve confectioners style erythritol

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Mix protein powder, coconut flour, baking powder, and nutmeg until well blended
  3. Add egg whites and coconut oil, mix well
  4. Spoon batter into a zip-lock baggie and cut off a corner
  5. Pipe batter into a silicone donut pan
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until donuts are firm
  7. Let cool slightly, and remove from pan
  8. Place in freezer while you mix the glaze (the cooler the donuts, the better they will take glaze)
  9. Using a fork, dip donut in glaze, turning to coat all of it (let excess drip off)
  10. Place on parchment paper
  11. Set in fridge or freezer to set for a few minutes
  12. Serve and enjoy! Store in refrigerator.
