Tuna Patties

Tuna Patties Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 (5 oz.) cans water packed tuna
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp coconut oil for cooking

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Stir drained tuna, eggs, onion, and spices in a medium mixing bowl until well combined.
  2. Separate mixture into 5 equal portions and form into small patties using hands (about 1/2 inches in diameter).
  3. Cook in skillet using coconut oil until cooked through and slightly browned on outside.

** TIP: Serve over spinach or arugula


This recipe makes 5 servings with a serving size of 3 ounces. This equates to the serving having 3 ounces of protein, and 1 servings of healthy fat on the IHC plan.
