Almond Flour Bread

Almond Flour Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Flour
  • 6 Large eggs Separated
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar (find in seasoning aisle)
  • 1 pinch Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 6 drops Liquid Stevia optional
  • 1 tbsp Active Dry Yeast

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat oven to 375 and grease an 8x4 loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Separate egg whites from yolks.
  3. Add egg whites and cream of tartar to bowl and whip until soft peaks form. Set aside
  4. In a separate bowl, add in all other ingredients (including yolks) and 1/3 of egg white mixture until combined. Do not over-mix. A food processor works great for this.
  5. Fold in remaining egg white mixture to gently combine. (A softer touch in mixing will help to make the bread bouncy.)
  6. Pour mixture into pan and bake for 30 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Makes 20 slices. 1 slice= 1 serving healthy fat
